MySpace Groups
Like any other internet domain (think Yahoo or Google), MySpace Groups help likeminded people find each other. But with MySpace, you’re just a few clicks away from those people’s profiles with their blog entries and friends, helping you make friends and get noticed. MySpace has scads of groups across many categories. Following are a handful of groups that have gained impressive legions of friends.

Schools and alumni
The most popular school groups are the collective classes of recent school years, but for individual schools, no one beats the USC Trojans with over 10,000 members. Guess there’s nothing better to do at USC than hook up on MySpace now that Reggie Bush is in Texas.Religion and beliefs
There are over 66,000 MySpace groups dedicated to religion and beliefs. The most popular? Hardcore Christians Living Hardcore with over 60,000 members, who all love Jesus HARDCORE!Music
Trading and discussing music is the heart and soul of MySpace, so it’s no surprise that MySpace’s biggest group would be a music group: Urbnmix.net’s music video group has over 230,000 members, who can watch music videos uploaded to the group in genres ranging from hip-hop to indie rock.Cities and neighborhoods
Of all the groups related to geographic location, no one comes close to Craig Owns Colorado with its 30,000-plus members. So if you’re in Colorado, give Craig a shout-out; he owns you, apparently.Animals and pets
Well, officially the group with the most members in this category is Stop Cruelty Against Animals with 68,000 members, but since they don’t have a photo for the group (68,000 people and none of them can post a photo?), the award goes to My Dog Rocks, a 41,000-strong group devoted to why your dog is better than everyone else’s.See also:
